About The Tibbs

One of the hottest new names on the retro Soul scene: The Tibbs.

Based around Amsterdam and founded by a bunch of northern soul and funk disciples, The Tibbs started in 2012 taking inspiration from the golden age of Soul Music. In 2014 they’ve self published a demo EP and they’ve released a 45 vinyl on the German funk label Tramp Records.

After a few exciting years passed turning heads and spreading soul tunes all around the country, including appearances at legendary North Sea Jazz Club and a live performances at national Radio 6, The Tibbs are finally ready to make their official debut on Record Kicks. Take notice, The Tibbs are the new name to watch!
